Natural Hair Care

20140310-231045.jpg
For a few months I’ve tried to find an alternative, natural way to take care of my hair (and teeth, but more on that later).

My solution? Baking soda, apple cider vinegar and coconut oil.

For shampoo I now mix two tablespoons of baking soda and water to create a paste that I apply to wet hair. And for conditioner I either dip the ends of my hair in apple cider vinegar or I apply coconut oil to them a few hours before showering/shampooing.

The results? AMAZINGNESS.

After a month not only is my wallet happy, but my hair looks great!

For the first few weeks of this routine my hair was a bit oily, which is apparently normal. Lucky for me I was also on vacation and could have cared less about what my hair looked like (as if I do when I’m not on vacation…).

After the oily phase my hair went back to normal, if not better than before I started using these products.

For anyone looking to save a few bucks while still trying to look fllllyyyy, I strongly suggest trying this routine out! Read more about it here!
