Summer is so close. I can feel it in my morning bike rides to work. The weather inches up a degree or two each week. I can’t wait to throw on a flouncy dress over my bikini, wrap my hair up into a chignon and hit the beach.

But what I REALLY can’t wait for are the summer nights here in the city. I love watching sunkissed cuties make their way in and out of the bustling bars and cafes. Running to Little Italy for gelato after dinner. Sipping sangria. Giggling and dancing on my roof with my girlfriends into the wee hours of the morning.

Ahh! Now if it would only stop raining…

How was your weekend? The weather was beautiful here in New York. I spent all of Saturday outside. Unfortunately on Sunday I felt sick and didn’t get to enjoy the weather. And now today, Monday, it is pouring. The rain isn’t making me feel any better. C’est la vie.
