The only thing I was missing was a deep, dark lip color a la Salt-n-Pepa. So when I saw photos of the MAC and Azealia Banks lipstick collab, I knew I needed it to complete my throwback look.
I purchased Yung Rapunxel without even trying it on. I’m such a risk taker, I know. But after rushing home to put it on, I was happy with my results. Let me just say that this lipstick is bold. It definitely makes a statement.
To keep myself from appearing too goth-girl, I wore this lacy, feminine top to balance the look out. I think it’s safe to say this is a modern take on a 90’s staple and worth the purchase if you aren’t faint of heart.
On a side note, below is a photo of a photo that I enhanced with the LINE Camera app on my iPhone. If you haven’t downloaded the app yet, you should. I’m obsessed with it!
